Direct OEM replacement for CPM, Wolverine, and Proctor equipment dog bone pivot bushings. CPM Corporation owns all three brands — one part number covers them all. No modification required for installation.
A dog bone bushing is a flexible pivot component used in machinery with oscillating or rotating arm connections. The "dog bone" shape — wider at each end, narrower in the middle — allows it to be pressed into a bore at each end while flexing through the center.
A standard dog bone bushing is a solid rubber or urethane part. An internally sleeved dog bone bushing adds a rigid inner sleeve — typically steel or stainless — bonded inside the elastomer. This sleeve accepts the pivot pin or bolt directly, dramatically reducing wear on the elastomer and extending service life.
Blue Bushings goes one step further with a full elastomer-bonded design: both the inner and outer sleeves are bonded to the elastomer wall. The elastomer absorbs all the movement. Bonding surfaces don't slide, metal-on-metal contact doesn't occur, and the part requires no lubrication — ever.
CPM Corporation acquired both the Wolverine and Proctor equipment lines. The dog bone pivot bushing is dimensionally identical across all three machine families — BB-CPM-1125-750-2125 is a direct drop-in replacement regardless of which brand nameplate is on the machine.
Original CPM pellet mills, conditioners, hammer mills, and screeners. Bushing used in dog bone pivot connections throughout the machine.
Wolverine equipment acquired by CPM. Same dog bone pivot geometry — BB-CPM-1125-750-2125 replaces the OEM pivot bushing directly.
Proctor equipment acquired by CPM. Same pivot bushing specification applies across all Proctor machine variants in this size class.
Both sleeves bonded to the elastomer wall. No sliding surfaces. No wear on bonding faces. The elastomer takes all the movement.
No grease fittings. No maintenance intervals. No failed pivot from a missed lube point. Install it and forget it.
Rubber in both compression and shear gives highest fatigue life and the ability to absorb shock while sustaining high static and dynamic loads.
1.125" OD · 0.750" ID · 2.125" H. Identical to the OEM specification. Drop in, press in, done.
Replacement outer sleeve for CPM, Wolverine, and Proctor dog bone bushing assemblies. The OD is centerless ground for a consistent press-fit into the receiving bore. Available separately for sleeve-only jobs or when the bore housing has worn oversize and needs to be restored to spec before the new bushing is pressed in.
