Why We Started

Blue Bushings was built around one problem: the replacement bushings available for industrial equipment weren't engineered to last. Too much slop. No elastomer bond. Wrong material spec. Parts that looked right but failed fast — and sent maintenance crews back out on short intervals.

We started with Wolverine, Proctor, and CPM machinery because that's where we saw the most need. The OEM parts existed, but nothing with an internal sleeve and proper elastomer bond. So we built them.

Since then we've expanded into feed mill, aggregate, municipal utilities, railroad, and forestry equipment — anywhere the same problem exists: high-cycle pivot applications where lubricated bushings are a maintenance liability and standard replacements wear out too fast.

How We Build

Every Blue Bushings part uses an elastomer wall bonded between inner and outer sleeves. The elastomer takes up all the movement — bonding surfaces don't move, wear doesn't accumulate the way it does with metal-on-metal designs.

We design for compression and shear — the configuration that provides highest fatigue life and the ability to sustain high static and dynamic loads simultaneously. The result is a bushing that absorbs shock, damps vibration, reduces noise, compensates for mis-alignment, and requires zero lubrication.
